How does your DHO reward points system work?

Every dollar you spend on our DHO products, you will earn DHO points that can be redeemed for future purchases. Every 100 DHO points you earn, you will be rewarded with $1 that can be used towards your next order with us.

You can see your reward points balance anytime, just go to my account.

To redeem your points, you will be presented with an option during the checkout process to cash in your points towards your pending order. You can’t miss it, it’s a big red banner across the top of the page.

Is it safe ordering with DHO Medicinal?

Yes – of course! All orders are shipped in discreet smell proof packaging, we take stealth shipping very seriously. Here at DHO (Deep Healing Organics) we will provide you with an email confirmation, once we begin processing the order and after the order has been shipped. We will then update you with a tracking number so that you can track your order online. We have dedicated customer service and we will respond to any inquiry you may have about your order within 24 hours. All orders over $149.00 are offered a free shipping option at checkout.

There are about 150 mail order marijuana sites in Canada. Canada has been shipping cannabis in the mail since the 90’s and, to date, we cannot find any records of anyone ever having been charged for being the recipient of mail order cannabis.

With that being said, there is still a slight risk on both ends as we are not yet working with any federal approval, however, we are striving to do so. We have a GDT/HST number and copy as closely as physically possible the current cannabis laws set out by Health Canada. With legalization now a reality, its only a matter of time until you see DHO Medicinal operating in the fully regulated field.

We have also ensured our website is 100% https secure, meaning all of your private info is safe with us. See that green lock beside our website in the URL? That means we are a secure page, showing you only secure content. We pay monthly for top of the line security via Sucuri website security, as customer security is hugely important to us. Feel free to Google Sucuri to see just how well your info is protected.

We have also installed website Antivirus as well as a firewall – to further ensure your safety. All of this is done to ensure your anonymity. This is a costly security measure many other sites do not take. We advise that when shopping online for anything, including medical cannabis, that you look for the green lock (lock symbol may be a different color depending on your browser).

This is the DHO’s standard.

Your personal security is a very serious matter for us. Only the head staff at DHO can see your personal info, and all personal info is deleted after 100 days of inactivity. Your personal information will never under any circumstance be released to a 3rd party once we receive it. After we receive IDs, addresses and email accounts for users of the site, all of the data is stored on an encrypted hard drive to ensure it cannot be accessed via any back doors. This way, even if the site were to have a vulnerability – all of your data is still safe. This is the same protocol used by LP’s in Canada.

What do I need to become a member of DHO Medicinal?

To become a member of DHO Medicinal, you will need to provide proof of age (19+) by sending your government-issued photo ID via email to dhoinquiries@dhomedicinal.ca


Upon registration we require that you send your Drivers License, Health-Card or Passport via email to verify your account. 

**If you have an ACMPR/MMPR/MMAR Document – Please email it to us as well if you are comfortable in doing so. You may omit the reason for the prescription if you like. You will be eligible for a discount due to having this paperwork. Please email us to ensure we know of your paperwork and we will email you a coupon code you can use on all future orders.

**Veterans receive 10% off on all orders. Simply email us proof of your service and we will email you a coupon code that you may use for all future orders. We highly respect the service you’ve put in for us to live the free lives that we do.

Please note: Members are required to send a valid form of government photo ID (drivers license, health card, passport, Etc.) via email before an order can be processed. If you have not done so already, please email your ID. Registered members can shop, manage and order as usual.

What methods of payment do you accept?

We accept payments using Interac e-transfer (email money transfer). Using a Canadian bank or credit union. E-transfers are very easy and can be done in just a couple minutes.  ** We do not accept Paypal transfers.

If you do not have e-transfers enabled on your bank account, you can simply call or visit your branch and ask them to enable the feature, it’s really that easy! Once complete, you can then send and receive Interac e-transfers – and shop with DHO medicinal. ** If you need any help with this process, feel free to email us at dhoinquiries@dhomedicinal.ca and we will assist as best as we can.

Instructions will be provided to you via email after you receive your invoice. We will always provide payment instructions via email as quickly as possible. Orders will ship only after the e-transfer has been received. If we receive your payment by 12 noon PST (3pm EST), your order ships that business day, otherwise it will ship the next business day. Please ensure you follow the instructions in the email carefully, so that we can get your medicine on it’s way to you ASAP.

We also accept money orders or cash in the mail. If you are using a money order, email us at dhoinquiries@dhomedicinal.ca to receive the information to put on the money order. Once we’ve received your money order, we will ship out your order and provide you with a tracking number. Money orders can be purchased from most “Money Mart” type of establishments. Some banks also sell money orders.

If you are sending cash in the mail, email us at dhoinquiries@dhomedicinal.ca to receive mailing instructions. We will ship your order after we have received the payment. It is best to ship payment with a tracking number so that it can be traced. We will provide you with a tracking number once your order has been shipped.

What is the difference between Sativa and Indica?

Sativa and Indica are the two major types of cannabis plants which can mix together to create hybrid strains. Each strain has its own range of effects on the body and mind resulting in a wide range of medicinal benefits.

The high produced from smoking Indica bud is a strong physical body high that will make you sleepy or ‘couch-locked’ and provides a deep relaxation feeling compared to a Sativa high, which is known to be more energetic and uplifting. Hybrids tend to be the best of both worlds – and are greatly growing in popularity among medical users.

Marijuana strains range from pure sativas to pure indicas and hybrid strains consisting of both indica and sativa (30% indica – 70% sativa, 50% – 50% combinations, 80% indica – 20% sativa etc.). Because Sativa, Hybrid and Indica buds have very different medicinal benefits and effects, certain strains can be targeted to better treat specific illnesses.

INDICA

Indica dominant marijuana strains tend to have a strong sweet or sour odor to the buds (ex. Kush, OG Kush) providing a very relaxing and strong body high that is helpful in treating general anxiety, body pain, and sleeping disorders.

Indicas are very effective for overall pain relief and is often used to treat insomnia for many people. Indica buds are most commonly smoked by medical marijuana patients in the late evening or even right before bed due to how sleepy and tired you become when high from an indica strain of marijuana, like Kush.

SATIVA

Sativa dominant marijuana strains tend to have a more grassy type odor to the buds providing an uplifting, energetic and “cerebral” high that is best suited for daytime smoking. A sativa high is one filled with creativity and energy as being high on sativa can spark new ideas and creations. Many artists take advantage of the creative powers of cannabis sativa (marijuana) to create paintings.

Shipping

When will my order ship? What are your cut off times?

The cut off time for your order to be shipped the same day is 1 PM EST. The payment for your order must be processed before any orders are shipped out. Orders placed after 1 PM EST will be shipped out the next business day.

What are the shipping fees?

A free shipping option is offered on orders over $149.00. We also offer one-day shipping within Ontario.

All orders over $149.00 are automatically shipped via Canada Post Xpress Post. Orders that are below $149.00 have a variety of shipping options, including Canada Post Xpress Post, Priority, Etc. The shipping price is $20.00 for Canada Post Express. Other courier shipping prices are listed during checkout.

How will my order be packaged?

Your order will be discretely packaged in smell proof packaging and sealed to protect and maintain your privacy. We ship using bubble mailers or nondescriptive boxes with no indication of what is inside. Our custom DHO bags are smell proof and are vacuum sealed to ensure 100% discretion.

Can I add to or edit my order?

If you would like to add or edit your order, you’ll need to enter a new order and your original order will be canceled. This will greatly limit processing errors and ensure you receive your medication as quickly as possible.

Canada Post

Canada Post shows delivered, but I have not received my order?

Here are 2 likely scenarios:

  1. The postal worker put it in the wrong mailbox or accidentally scanned it early – and it will be re-scanned shortly.
  2. What often happens is that a postal worker will scan in all the packages saying they were “successfully delivered” then spend that day and/or the next day delivering it. This is especially true during the holiday seasons as parcel volume greatly increases during this time and Canada Post workers are often working long hours during these seasons.

If you do not get your package 2 days after the expected delivery date, let us know and we will file a trace with the post office. Canada Post will file an investigation which can take 5 business days to complete. If they can locate the package, they will ship it to you and you’ll get it a few days later. If it’s deemed “unrecoverable, lost, or sent to un-deliverable mail”, we will send you a 1x replacement free of charge. We very much want to ensure all of our patients have their medicine when it is needed. (**NOTE – YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO WAIT UNTIL THE CANADA POST INVESTIGATION CONCLUDES BEFORE WE CAN SHIP THE REPLACEMENT ORDER. We will always follow up quickly and efficiently if a package is lost. Like many retail stores, we do not offer cash refunds.

Out of thousands of packages delivered for us, we have noticed that Canada Post has about a 92.13% success rate. Meaning it is very rare that a package is lost, however, it does sometimes happen, unfortunately, and we will certainly replace your items if Canada Post does not deliver them properly, 1x free of charge.

From Canada Post

The investigation involves contacting the addressee to confirm delivery, or to better understand how they receive their mail and, as applicable, if they checked:

  • with the front desk, security or mail room at the receiving address to see if someone else accepted the item on their behalf;
  • their Community Mail Box for the item or parcel compartment key;
  • around their property to see if the item was left in a safe location or in a mailbox attached to their home.

In rare cases, a delivery scan is entered into our system before the item is delivered. If you become aware that the addressee has received the item before we contact you, simply reply to this e-mail indicating the item has been received.”

Canada Post shows delivered, but I have not received my order?

If you’re tracking your package on the Canada Post website and it looks like it’s headed to the wrong city, it’s most likely due to human error by Canada Post. Human errors happen on occasion as the postal employee has to manually enter each postal code in the system and if they are off by a digit/letter, it can cause a routing error and subsequent delay of 1-2 days.

Canada Post tracking information has not updated recently?

If you’re tracking your package on Canada Post’s website and it has not updated in a little while, it’s most likely because of your package missing a scan, which is fairly common as Canada post processes thousands of packages daily. This DOES NOT MEAN you will not receive your package, it is still on its way to you.

99% of the time, members get their packages on time or a max of one day later. If you do not receive it 2-3 days after your expected date, Please be sure to let us know immediately so we can file a trace with the post office and get your package located and delivered.

If a trace is filed, Canada Post will conduct an investigation (which can take 5 business days to complete). If they can locate the package, they will ship it to you and you’ll get it a few days later. If it’s deemed “unrecoverable”, we will send you a 1x replacement package, free of charge.
